A woman who allegedly swiped a $30,000 watch from rapper DMX has reportedly accused him of sexual assault.
The “X Gon’ Give It to Ya” rapper met the woman Friday night at a Hollywood bar and invited her and a group of others to his Orange County, Calif., hotel room, sources close to DMX told TMZ.
They called police after she allegedly made off with his pricey timepiece.
Cops responded and collared the woman for theft, at which point she alleged that DMX had sexually assaulted her, the Costa Mesa Police Department told the gossip site.
Insiders deny the woman’s claims, pointing out that several other people were present in the hotel room, TMZ reports. Police are investigating.
Costa Mesa police and a rep for the 45-year-old "Cradle 2 the Grave" star have not yet returned the Daily News’ request for comment.
DMX, whose real name is Earl Simmons, recently came back from the brink of death after collapsing in a Yonkers hotel parking lot.
He enjoyed the height of his fame in the late '90s and early 2000s for hits like "Party Up" and “Ruff Ryder’s Anthem,” but has lately made more headlines for his illustrious rap sheet.
His long list of arrests — dating back to 1998 — include a 90-day jail sentence for animal cruelty and drug possession, six months in jail for failing to pay $400,000 worth of child support to his ex-wife, Tashera Simmons, and a bonkers 2004 incident in which he crashed a car through a Kennedy Airport parking lot gate, insisting he was a government agent.
