The man who filmed the Staten Island chokehold death of Eric Garner is being sought for allegedly threatening his girlfriend in Manhattan, sources said.
Ramsey Orta allegedly demanded money from his girlfriend and threatened a child during an argument Saturday, sources said. She reported the incident at the 7th Precinct station house on the Lower East Side.
Orta, who has not been charged, has a lengthy rap sheet with more than 27 arrests under his belt, and has been busted three times since Garner’s death. He was arrested in June on drug charges.
A woman who was present at Orta’s apartment but who refused to identify herself telephoned Orta when The Post asked to speak to him.
“S–t already started. The New York Post is here, they want to talk to you,” she told him — before declining to put The Post in contact with him.
