A US Postal Service worker who stole Christmas gifts meant for poor kids in a scheme with two colleagues has pleaded guilty in a deal that will get her a maximum of 30 days behind bars.

Mahogany Strickland, 23 — who ironically lives on St. Nicholas Avenue in Manhattan — was the public face of the scam and would man the baskets of “Dear Santa” letters at the “Operation Santa” table in the lobby of the huge James A. Farley Post Office in Midtown, court papers state.

She would prominently place the bogus letters penned by her and her accomplices so they’d be picked and even handed some of their letters directly to donors looking for letters from children asking for Christmas presents, according to court papers.

Strickland and her family netted “iPads, a laptop, headphones, clothing and boots” meant for disadvantaged children, court papers state.
