Man Wanted in Death of Women Found at Hotels
September 15, 2015

A violent Brooklyn man is being sought by police in connection with the deaths of two women whose bodies were found in separate hotel rooms over the past few months, sources said.
Joseph Danclair, 36, is wanted in the deaths of Chrissy Bevelaqua, 34, and Antoniette Marin, 43, after they were both found lying on hotel room beds with trauma to their necks, according to law enforcement sources.
Bevelaqua’s body was discovered July 23 in the Bushwick Hotel in Brooklyn, where Danclair was seen leaving with a plastic bag.
Sources said the hotel room was wiped clean but Danclair’s fingerprint was recovered at the scene.
On Sept. 8, Marin’s body was discovered at the Manhattan Broadway Hotel in the Garment District, cops said.
The medical examiner is investigating how the women were killed.
Danclair — who has tattoos of a rose on one arm and praying hands on the other — was spotted on video at both hotels.
He is described as 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing 170 pounds, with short black hair and brown eyes.
Police also are investigating whether Danclair raped a woman in an abandoned building in Brownsville in August.
He has more than 20 arrests on charges including drugs, kidnapping and assault.
Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS. Calls are confidential.
