A truck full of ice cream and it wasn't enough to keep him happy.
A 24-year-old ice cream truck driver was allegedly on drugs when he was arrested Friday after parents complained he was acting belligerently to his young customers and wearing nothing but his underwear.
Officers determined Ryan Duff, 24 of East Amherst, was impaired by drugs Friday evening while operating his truck in Clarence, the Erie County Sheriff's Office reports.
Police were called to the scene because of Duff screaming at his customers and his drastically reduced dress code.
The ice cream man refused to take a drug test, but a drug recognition expert determined he was under the influence, authorities said.
The suspect was charged with DWI and released to a third party. He received a court date of Aug. 25.
