A Mercedes driver blasted away at a man sitting in a cherry red Bentley in Manhattan Sunday morning, striking him three times, police sources said.

The 27-year-old victim was shot twice in the back and once in the shoulder at about 5:30 a.m. at 7th Avenue and West 17th Street in Chelsea near trendy Cafeteria restaurant.

The victim, Garry Rey, was taken to Bellevue Hospital and was expected to survive, police sources said.

Police combed over a bright red Bentley with at least three bullet holes in its window at the site in the hours after the shooting. A bloody, brown jacket hung on a chair nearby.

“I could hear yelling then shots, like three,” said Phineas Forde, 24, who lives in the neighborhood. “I got down. You don’t expect that here.”

Forde said he also heard a car peeling out.

The Mercedes that took off was either gray or silver, police sources said. The driver was wearing a black hoodie.
