Do you ship to prisons?
We ship to multiple prison facilities around the world in all 50 states. We ship to county, state, and federal penitentiaries. However, we have not shipped to all facilities so to avoid delays, contact the mailroom of that particular facility in question before placing an order if your not sure of their rules & regulations.
Can I email an inmate?
No! Inmates does not have access to a computer so they cannot send or receive emails. However, some federal inmates use an email communication system Corrlinks, which allows the inmate to send you a request and you correspond through that system.
What is Pmail?
Pmail is Prison mail which is a system we use to correspond between inmates and friend/family members. For more info on Pmail click here.
How soon does an Ad list after being purchased?
Usually one to three days after payment and all info is received.
Can prisoners receive gifts, stamps etc along with my letter?
Usually not but the rules vary from prison to prison. Do not send anything other than your letter until you find out the rules and regulations for that particular institution. We also recommend writing your return address on the actual letter as the envelope may be discarded.
Can you write inmates if your outside of the United States?
Do I have to worry about scams when corresponding with inmates?
Caution and common knowledge must always be used when dealing with inmates. For more on this refer to our Educate Yourself page.
I am not yet 18, can I still write to inmates?
No. You must be at least 18 years of age to use our service.
